Request QuoteThe Portable Aerosol Mobility Spectrometer (PAMS) is an electrical mobility size spectrometer designed for portable, mobile, or handheld aerosol sampling applications. PAMS provides the number-weighted diameter distribution of aerosols over the entire sub-micrometer range (10 – 863 nm) in one scan. PAMS uses a non-radioactive bipolar aerosol charger to allow easy access to sampling sites with tight safety regulations. The bipolar charger significantly reduces measurement uncertainty of larger particles in the sub-micrometer range. PAMS is a small, light, stand-alone, battery-operated instrument (no external computer is needed).
The Kanomax hand-held condensation particle counter (CPC) offers 15 nm sensitivity and a concentration range of 0 – 100,000 particles/cm3. The total flow rate for this CPC is 700 cc/min and the aerosol sampling flow rate is 100cc/min. Power supply options for this small, light CPC are an alkaline/Ni-MH battery or an AC adapter.
Conventional Differential Mobility Analyzers (DMA) size particles by using a varying electric field. The Aerosol Particle Mass analyzer (APM) classifies particles by mass, based on the balance between centrifugal and electrostatic forces. This technique provides a true mass distribution and can be used to generate a mono-dispersed aerosol. The APM particle mass range is approximately 30 – 580 nm, its rotation speed is up to 14,000 rpm.
The infiTOF High-resolution Time of Flight Mass Spectrometer is a high-performance, small-footprint, time-of-flight mass spectrometer. MSI Tokyo, a subsidiary of Kanomax Japan, developed this innovative device. By incorporating multi-turn technology MSI has made the infiTOF smaller than traditional mass spectrometers without sacrificing the resolution. The infiTOF system is compact, portable, and capable of achieving the resolving power of 30.000 FWHM.
